SYNOPSISELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT REPAIR provides knowledge and skills on troubleshoot and repair of the electronics equipment. This course focuses on the identification of faults in audio amplifier, regulated dc power supply, radio CD player and colour TV receiver. This course also provides knowledge and skill on trouble shoot and repair of the electronic laboratory equipment.
LEARNING OUTCOMESUpon completion of this course, students should be able to:-
1. practice correctly safety and occupational health procedures in the laboratory.
2. use hand tools correctly to make good soldering.
3. identify correctly diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques to diagnose fault in electronic circuit.
4. operate electronics lab test equipment competently as specified by the operating manual.
5. repair competently dc power supply, audio amplifier, PA system, radio CD player, colour TV receiver and electronic lab equipments using proper troubleshooting technique and test equipment.
